Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLUCAN DEAN RAEZA MEEKIS Peacefully on Wednesday, February 20 (12:01 a.m.), 2002, at the Health Sciences Centre, Lucan Dean Raeza Meekis passed away at the age of 20 years. Lucan is at peace and free from pain; he had given his life to Jesus. The family would like to thank all those who came to visit Lucan at Sandy Lake and at the Health Sciences Centre. Lucan will be missed by his family and many friends. God Rest Your Soul He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory his parents, Johnny and Stella Meekis; one sister R.D., (brother-in-law) Keith Robert Linklater; two brothers, Lyle and Logan; grandparents, Jake and Kanina Kakegamic and grandmother Maryanne Meekis. There are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Deacon Naham and Jemima Fiddler and grandfather Andrew Meekis. Wake services will be held on Thursday, February 21 and Friday, February 22 at Sandy Lake, ON. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 23 at 1:00 p.m., at St. Bernadette Roman Catholic Church, Sandy Lake, ON, with Fr. Bart officiating. The has passed 23 years almost to the day you left. Not a day goes by without thinking of your passing. How it hurts so much daily. That day you left me was a day l was so lost without you, I had prayed so much that you would wake up but you never did, You said goodbye in your own way in which l heard in my heart when your last heart beat l felt. That last heart beat was the last l heard from you. Loved you so much and will continue that love till my last heart beat for you. Memories of you are still vividly in my mind at times l think youre still alive. The feelings and the energy you gave me are still within and most likely will be that way forever. I love you so so much, One day we will meet up again, we shall ride the waves again as we have done years ago, we shall breathe in the cool air, we shall be best buddies again, we shall embrace the love between a father and a son..
